Native to Peru Brazil & Bolivia. This beautiful small tree produces enormous deeply lobed palmate leaves that will transport you to the tropics. The leaf underside is a silvery-white colour, earning Cecropia polystacha the common name of ‘White Cecropia’. In bright light this plant will grow rapidly, an adaption that helps it take advantage of gaps in a tropical forest canopy. This stunning and rarely cultivated plant will require a warm spot in winter, ideally above 10ºC.
