Saxifraga stolonifera has survived -6ºC in dry conditions in the Grow Paradise garden, showing signs of good cold hardiness. However, we are unsure of how these plants will tolerate snow so have listed them as half-hardy. They are easily propagated for winter protection.

Saxifraga stolonifera ‘Tricolour’ is a very low growing plant indeed. The height will remain at ground level with it only reaching 30cm when it send up flowering stems in summer.
