A really colourful airplant, T. tricolour var. melanocrater produces beautiful multicoloured flower stems. The leaves of this airplant turn almost entirely red around flowering time. I love to grow air plants on the trunks and branches of trees in my tropical style garden for the ultimate jungle look.
