A vigorous Billbergia bromeliad hybrid! A rosette of thick glossy evergreen leaves catch rainwater that pools in the center of the plant. Billbergia x windii grows as an epiphyte that would naturally grow along tree branches in tropical forests. Surprisingly hardy in some mild areas of the UK.
Homegrown by us here in the UK.
No virgin plastic.
Grown peat free.
No chemical pesticides.
CARE: Ensure the roots are in a free draining mix, ideally a bark/compost mix. These Bromeliads can be grown in a pot or mounted onto wood and planted into tree trunks. Water when really dry and protect from severe cold. Cut off old flower spikes to keep the plant tidy.
