A very tropical looking large semi-evergreen fern. The ‘Jungle Brake’ fern originates from the tropical forests of Australia. Pteris umbrosa can grow to form large colonies in warm and moist conditions. In the UK it may loose some of its leaves in winter, but will quickly push out fresh new foliage in spring. One of my absolute favourite ferns for a tropical style garden.
