The rare ‘Purple Leaf Form’ of this striking plant, which has impressively large leaves and stunning electric blue flowers. The furry leaves are bright olive green on top, with contrasting deep purple reverses. Clusters of bright cobalt-blue flowers appear on branched spikes at the end of each leafy stem. Not hardy to heavy frosts so needs some protection from other trees or shrubs.
